I have already found many items wrong with using SlideRocket to do your presentation.  One thing is that it has the ability to freeze up quickly and often on you.  I was getting very frustrated on this site that I was close to switching to a different technology.  When you add sound, say you want a song to play throughout the whole Presentation, you are not able too.  All you are able to do is add sound just too each slide individually.  So basically for a 30 day free trial, all you are receiving is a 30 day subscription to Microsoft Powerpoint.  You are able to add different animations, motion animations that you cannot add with Powerpoint, but these items are so large, large as in file size large that your computer will run very slow, I consider myself to have a pretty good computer and once you add Sounds, Pictures, Animations, slide Transitions, your computer can barely run.  I had to close everything and forced the computer to run on it's highest settings for it to even run sort of smoothly.  Still very choppy and not worth the 30 day free trial!!  Sliderocket runs on an adobe format so if you don't have adobe then you cannot run this program.  For business with long Presentations, I would recommend just using powerpoint or a simpler type of presentation program.  It just needs a lot of touching up, not good for a school environment either considering it could fail at any moment when you are teaching it.
here is the link, I hope it works on your computer.  I had to take the music and the slide transitions off because it kept freezing or running super slow that I could not finish!!  Ugh very stressful for the last Emergent Technology!!

2nd Emergent Technology PHOTOS!!!
http://www.photoshow.com/watch/Fn3Jf9iw
sorry for it only being in a link, my blog is somehow messed up to where I can't post anything straight to it without it being redirected to another website, i keep trying to get the media player off of there but it keeps redirecting me too fast, so i will keep trying.
This project was very fun. It was very easy to accomplish and the directions were very easy. I could easily use this in a classroom to put photos of different areas or states. I used Photoshow, which had very simple directions. I was hoping that it would let me add my own music, but i had to sign up for a premium account to use that. If you could add your own music you could make it so the kids would stay interested.

RSS Feeds
I can honestly say I had never heard of what an RSS feeds was or even what the symbol was.  I had seen the symbol on many pages I just never took the time to figure out what it was.  After doing some research on it.  It seems very useful to a person who is on the computer a lot.  I did my RSS feeds through Igoogle in which my RSS feeds that i choose will show 4 or 5 headlines from each website right when I get online.  It is so much easier to access these files rather than going to the website then finding the top stories, all you have to do now is get online and right there are your favorite websites are there with there top stories.  I chose CNN as one of my RSS feeds.  I logged in today and found out that TiVo is adding the internet to there premium accounts.  I do not have a TiVo but i have been thinking of getting one.  This information came right too me, I did not have to look around or so millions of searches to find this information.  It took me less than 30 seconds to find out this information.  I always expect good useful information from CNN so it really has not failed me yet hopefully during the next presidential election if i am still using RSS feeds this will keep me informed on what is going on politically as well.  :)

Introductions
Hello, My name is Blake Braden and this is currently my first ever blog created.  I am pretty excited to be given this oppurtunity to make one.  I am currently a Senior at IUPUI, but i just transferred from Millikin University in Decatur, IL.  Currently I am a subsitute teacher and Franklin Township in Marion County.  I am currently studying to become a Elementary Education Teacher.  I love working with kids, it makes me feel great that I am helping younger kids become successful and I am helping with the future of education.  I chose this background in Particular because it really represents every school I have ever been too.  My Franklin Townships Schools were always Blue, and Millikin's Colors were Blue and White.  It also happens to be my favorite color so I could not go wrong with this background.
